FOXTECH EXPLORER 10 INCH MONITOR / DVR - IMMERSION EzOSD ISSUE

I've recently received the Foxtech Explorer 10 inch monitor with built in DVR and multi-channel receiver. I've only done limited testing to date; I'm pretty happy and will report my experiences / observations as I move on.


I have a minor problem that so far I can't solve: I use an Immersion EzOSD. When displayed on the monitor screen, the bottom line of data (voltage etc) is partly cut off (as if the OSD display graphic is 'too big' for the screen). I've cycled through the monitor settings, but no luck so far. Changing 16:9 to 4:3 makes no difference. The OSD display is fine through FatShark D2 goggles...


Any ideas?

not sure how the monitor menu is set up , but some of them have different versions of PAL /NTSC in them (PAL a, Pal b, NTSC b and so on)
Failing that , you can go into the EZOSD settings and change the "margins" to "safe" , that will move them away from the edges a bit for you.
Other than that , its a monitor issue to do with how much the monitor will display as a frame size. (border)

I have cycled through the monitor settings but nothing changed (in the usable settings (PAL). I never thought of the EZOSD safe borders setting - will give that a go.

Changed the EzOSD to 'Safe borders' - problem solved - now have the full OSD display.

What's TX you guys using ? Anybody use IMMERSION or Fatshark ?

In this case, I'm using a Boscam TS352 (500mw) Tx...


Have an immersion in a different setup - I'll give that a try at the weekend and report.

We don 't ensure most of our monitor producut is Compatible well with Fatshark and Immersion so we always recommed our TX, except PVR-58 http://www.foxtechfpv.com/foxtech-pv...vr-p-1742.html but I think the screens size is a litter smaller .
