Mick......it is a relatively easy mod once the wire mapping of the original equipment in the joystick is figured out......and even that isnt difficult just a bit tedious. Now that I have it all drawn out schematicly on graph paper with the wire colors labeled and solder points on the PCB's all figured out the next mod will go very quick. The hardest part of the whole mod now is wiring up and soldering plugs and wires and remembering to put the damn shrink wrap in place before you solder the 30+ wires together.......LMAO!

Actually now it would be so easy for me to build a mod kit almost anybody could have this type of flying. I am toying with the idea of building one that will simply plug into the motherboard of the 9XR with no soldering required by the end user. What I could do is Just send someone a modified joystick and throttle. They would take the back off of their 9XR radio, unplug four mini plugs on the mother board and replace the plugs with four plugs that are connected to the joystick systems. It would actually be easier than swapping out stock joysticks! AAAAND.........it would be easy to return your 9XR to normal with no permanant change to its stock operation is you get tired of flying with a joystick and throttle. This will make CGS much mor approachable for folks I think!!

You could set it up and have a demonstration model for a YouTube promotion to show how easy it is to turn folks on to this mod. Might be able to set up for potential customers that way. After going through this 3 times already on mine, would be a great innovation if you're up to the task.

No sir I'm working on my own Reliku ltd. Potentiometer System that is obviously far superior to such primitive hall effect sensors. Further information can not be disclosed, systems incorporating the Reliku ltd. Potentiometer System are expected to be developed late 2018.

I'll let you know when I declassify anything

    What?!?! As if...

Holy crap that dash is WAY beyond what I was thinking. Pretty cool though. I'll probably just make something to mount my joystick/throttle/9xr/EZuhf to & call it good for this round.

I've said it before & I'll say it again...hanging out with you guys is nothing but trouble! I haven't even got the DGS (dashboard ground station) done & I'm thinking about a full CGS. Oh, don't know if I ever shared a pic of the van I have.
