Hello

I'd like to share some development for the MINIM OSD hardware.

MWOSD is a FREE Multipurpose Open Source OSD software solution for use primarily with UAV's and with support for traditional GPS based OSD functionality and also significantly enhanced direct support for a number of popular UAV flight controllers:

Glad to see a post for MWOSD over here! I've only had a few flights with MWOSD, but so far it's great!

Still trying to get a hang of FPV, it's not simple.

Great to see your post here. The MWOSD and it has a lot of options I want to use. At last the GUI works on a mac so I'll load it up on my boards (I have 5 of them). Is it much the same as rushosd where the refresh rate for rssi was very slow especially when using with a buffered system like ezuhf?

Wakawhere - the answer depends...

The RSSI value is updated at every screen refresh - several times a second.
RSSI value read may be less than that if RSSI value is taken from the flight controller.
Analogue RSSI directly on the OSD board is the fastest update.

Note it is also filtered over 8 readings by default. You can speed this up by disabling the filter in config.h

Its a balance between having fast reading and smoother less varying values on the screen. Different people like different approach. So far it seems most prefer the smoother reading so its in as default now. May not be required if its already filtered.

For MAC... grrrr I now hate Apple stuff because of this project!
I hope the 1.2 MAC client works for you - it works on my Hackintosh and also someone else tried it on their MAC and it was OK. It may say its from an unidentified developer - instructions are in the FAQ for that.
