    If your target does not move, you can set it to 1080p/30 5s (additional picture taken every 5s) stay on your target for at least 10s and you can be shure you have a picture of it.

    I was shooting 1080 video with pictures every 10 seconds with my 3+ and stuck 4 in but cannot get video out the rear connector on the 4. I need for lining up shots. I switch between GoPro and FPV camera. GoPro tells me pinout is proprietary???? I need this to work. Help please!

    GoPro HERO4 Revealed!

    It works! I bought a different rear connector that is right angle and not 45 degrees as the one I have and this one works on both cameras.

    I've used my original HD Hero as an fpv video source (before I got a standalone fpv cam) and shoot stills at the same time with the built in intervalometer, so I would think the newer models would be the same. It's not the best because your live feed stops for a second while it's shooting the picture but it does work.

    Flying a Hero 3+ and Hero 4 black. Use 1080 video and shoot 18 mpix pictures every 5 seconds. I plug into back connector and take video feed to switch. I switch between it for checking camera alignment to my Fat Shark camera as my primary FPV camera. Works quite well and I like setup.
