Witch Motor for the Ritewing Zephyr II ?

    Hi Guys!

I need help, ordered the Zeph 2 and now make my HK order with the Lipos but
can not decied whitch motor would fit with this gear best:

    Following combo already at home:

    Esc.
    FMS 50 Amp.
Turnigy 60 and 80 Amp Plush

    Motors:
    Turnigy
    TR 35-42C 1100kv Brushless Outrunner (Eq: 2820)
TR 35-42B 1250kv Brushless Outrunner (Eq: AXi 2820)

    Lipo turnigy Nano 2 x 4S 3300 mAh Parallel

does one of this Motors match good with the zephyr 2 mount or should I go for an 1300Kv 32-XX like Chris have in Stock?

Thank you for the quick replay

    Cheers

I'd be worried about the current draw on both of those motors. A 10x6 will see you at 45 amps or higher on a fresh battery at WOT. Those motors only look to be rated to 45a/30secs.

My friend has the Turnigy G10-1200kv on his Zephyr, cruises at about 10-15A... Peak at about 45A, prop is 10x6 and he had 2x 4s 3300 nanos.

I have Hacker A30-10L on mine and I get much less power... I'm building a 110" wing now and just ordered 2 of these to power this massive wing

    Strongly recommended motor.

    Good luck

    Thank you for your feedbacks.

I've finished my order at HK and ordered also following
    Motor:
    HobbyKing R/C Hobby Store : NTM Prop Drive Series 35-36A 1800Kv / 875w

Will try this one for first and it does work well then I will go for an A-brand motor like hacker or hyperion.

    Cheers

You will be happy with the motor, I have 1 like that and it's great!

Hacker motors are overe rated, I have it and there is really nothing special about it, been comparing it a lot to other motors and there are enough motors of the same size and specs who out perform the Hacker
    Over priced brand name

Same as the one I plan on using on my z2, and I am already using it on my windrider bee2, it draws 60 amps on 3s at wot. I love it.

Does this place seem legit for the ZS3014-12? Everywhere else it's $100...
