The size is right as is the total price of the frame and booms. I pulled the trigger at a competitor for 2 DJI E300 kits that are on sale. The motors are 2212 920kv, 15amp ESC's, and 9.4x4.3 props. Would that be enough to get this in the air with a 4s 5200 35c battery? Or would I need the E600 kit with lower kv motors and 12 inch props?

Guys, can you pls stop presenting new models? now I have to sell my Hexa-copter

    have some questions:
    1. maybe i missed it here but where can i find the qav500 gimbals shown on the pictures?
    2. Which Motors and ESCs are recommended together with which props? (suppose would only make sense with 4S?)

Wow, that's nice. I don't have any QAV products yet but might have one in the future. Will you make a smaller (300, 400) version of this frame? That's what I'll be in the market for in the future.

Looks very good. As a Lumenier newbie:

How do you decide which arms and arm lenght to choose?
What are the motor/prop options and again what is the criteria to choose?

I have and would like to reuse 4s/4500mAh batteries. My use case would be to build a stable video ship with DYS 3D gimbal. Arm, arm lenght, motor, prop combination should support this. Any setup proposals?

    Thanks,
    Michael

They have a QAV400 which is pretty much this in a 400 size, it doesnt need the reinforced bottom section.

This ship would easily carry a DYS 3 axis gimbal, since I made this gimbal work with the smaller QAV400, check my post and you see how it is mounted.

Yes, the new QAV500 v2 can carry the DYS 3 Axis gimbal with the help of our to be release 3-axis mounting plate. Here is a picture of it. The mounting plate will support mounting the gimbal with its own vibration isolation plate (for double vibration isolation) or hard mounting the yaw motor, which removes 2 plates from the DYS gimbal. The DYS gimbal needs some tweaking and we are still tuning it on 4 cell. The included vibration bobbins are also a bit too soft, so we are currently testing it hard mounted with better results.

Thank you guys. Looks very good. Didn't know the DYS is working upside down. I also noticed the battery is sticking out quite a bit. Is this a 4s? What size and weight?

Can you please help me with motor/prop/arm/armlength selection?

    Michael

Michael, we've listed all the suggested parts and components in the description of the product on GetFPV. You'll see it about 3/4 way down, but I'll list it here again for you too.
