Do you have a picture of this at all ?

    Thanks for that

Now I am an OCD perfectionist (fussy bastard) so I now have to buy a new PDB for $39 and then either wait for 2-3 weeks or pay $60 for expedited freight to get it to Australia in 5-7 days

I only paid $139 for the frame kit from a local dist but they don't list the board as a part yet

And it is sitting on the bench ready to start building NOW today

I was planning an all nighter build

There is an interesting picture with the gimbal/camera out infront of the vibration mount rather than the usual hanging below. I can tell you from the common Tarot gimabl there is no where near the space underneith to hang it. I made up a sort of clamp that holds the tilt motor and allows the gimbal to go out the front.

Interesting. I calculated that with long lending gear 60mm + hight of the frame should be enough. Plus i bought QAV500 V2 3-Axis Gimbal Attachment Plate . But still debating on gimbal.

BTW, why you din't mount your gimbal like this

Been there done that with the front firewall type mounting in 2013

It works really well but I don't have a 3d printer but I suppose I could use lexan or wood and do the same again

I just opened my brand new QAV500 kit to find that it looks like it's been used?
The PDB was in a sealed static bag (which I had to open with scissors) and under closer inspection, it looks like the pads have all been pre-tinned, or at least had solder on them all at some point.
Is this normal? Or have I copped a board that has been returned and then re-sold as new?
I'm still flying my original 500 from about 3 years ago, and I remember the pads weren't pre-tinned on that version.
Thought I'd ask here first before taking it up with the vendor.
