Testing went much better today, No more bouncing! All went well, clear up until I tip stalled her on final. Even so, I almost recovered, just ran out of air space. Freakin throttle up after nose down is just opposite of what I want to do. Managed to stop the spin and was just getting nthe nose up when she hit. Absolutely no damage, except to my GoPro cover. Damn glad I had the lens protector on,,, which you can plainly see in the vid is not on all the way.
    Great fun!

Hi Tom, it does look like it almost stopped completely before it stalled.
Were you flying on fpv or LOS? In manual?

I have set mine up so when I land it will glide throttle off a 6 foot per second in 2 d hold.
The vector is set so if it see's less than 6 amps it disables alt hold and descends. If flying in manual and the plane is balanced and trimmed it should glide at a 38 to 40 mph mph in manual without touching the sticks, this is apx 6 fps descent. If it stalls easy without stick input on elevator its probably needing some tuning.
Do you have a pitot for airspeed?
Looks like it was flying pretty well otherwise

This maneuver in this location is why I built this plane.

The Z3 is the first bird I have built/flown that is built rite enough to handle a dive like this.

    Thanks Chris!
