It's an Insignia 18.5" 720p 60Hz LED HDTV (NS-19E310A13) for $99 at Bestbuy, it's no longer available and has been replaced by the Model: NS-19E310NA15.

    Not sure of the bluescreen.
It sure would be nice to see more base station designs that use a big screen like this.

slowjet - I really love your backpack ground station. I think I'm going to build something similar to replace the bulky and tipsy Pelican case on a tripod ground station I have now, which is starting to be considered somewhat of a joke in CO FPV circles because it falls over so much. Did you add that PVC frame to the backpack or did it come with that?

Even better. Put your pelican case in the backpack, and then the backpack on the tripod!
It doesn't come with pvc by the way. I have the same one and it is really comfortable.

Had to add the PVC and coro. Still works real well though it doesnt want to stand up straight by itslef. I have to stick something under the back of it if I put it on a table now.

Mine stands up well with the 10,000 12V agm. The tripod then goes on top and I use one of those flexible rubber ties.

    This is all I need.
The suction cup sticks to any high point on my truck... Which is always nearby when I fly.

    So simple.

I'll second that. RAM-mounts pretty much solve all these issues...

I already posted my new groundstation here some weeks ago but I recently changed the antenna to the new CPATCH.
