I imagine you are trying to say that the problem I'm referring to has already been fixed so I don't have to worry about it anymore.
That is correct on both accounts.

Is there an official Flying Cinema way to mount FPV cam with the gimbal? I have seen some clever ideas up on standoffs but would like to see different ideas before I go moving mine around again.

Sorry to spam this thread. I am really trying to find out if this alexmos controller on eBay would work for us. Wouldn't it be nice to save 100$ vs Get FPV? Also, it's not even in stock at Get FPV.

The standoffs is how we do it in-house as well. As we come up with something else Ill try to remember to share but it would probably become a new product

No problem. I'll add longer standoffs and report back with pictures.

    Thanks

Dr patso. Not ignoring you...but I dont know the answer. I chose to buy mine from getfpv when in stock. Goodluck! but check your link...the product is not there.

I not only don't mind, I encourage this sharing of information so that we all learn together. Thats why I forward the support link on my page to this forum. I want everyone to learn everything together so that we can accelerate the learning curve.

THIS is the spirit that I want to associated with our company culture because thats what we believe in. David and I both were noobs only a couple of years ago and we learned on forums just like this. Well in my case I learned on THIS forum. Feel free to go back to my early post history and see what Im talking about.

This is a very difficult hobby to learn and I want to make it as easy as possible to all learn what we already know and the problems we solved so that we can move on to harder problems together as a group. We are here to provide solutions to the problems that we all have.

Haha thanks. Screw it, it looks like it runs the same software and such. I'm giving it a go, it's already assembled so I am nervous about the 90 degree pins. Not sure.. I am scared. somebody hold me.

My main concern is just that its coming from China. I hate waiting. Then if something is wrong you cant really return it. I have tried before and the seller just said they never got the item back. Other than that. report back for sure if it works good for you.

My Alexmos from getfpv worked pretty much out of the box. Just had to increase motor strength. I get jitters every once in a while. Thats next on my long list of things to research.

Ya, I agree you Marvin. I am more nervous about the purchase than I would be from Get FPV. I can wait longer if it means I'm saving 100$. Also they aren't in stock at Get FPV anyway.
