You're going to want the 2212 for that little extra power. The roll axis has to also carry the 2208 motor. The situation where you had file has been corrected. We make everything in house so we corrected that with the next batch after we found out about the problem.

Welcome to the Flying Cinema family. :-)

Sorry for my gimbal ignorance. Anything wrong with buying these alexmos controllers?

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...&condition=new

    3rd axis extension for 99$http://www.ebay.com/itm/AlexMos-BGC-...item20e55ba54b

appears to be same as getfpv for 50$http://www.ebay.com/itm/AlexMos-BGC-...item3cdf92bf29

    Much cheaper than GetFPV...

Oh okay. So does that mean that I should get one 2212 motor for the roll axis and then a smaller 2208 motor for the tilt axis? Also you said, "The situation where you had file has been corrected." I imagine you are trying to say that the problem I'm referring to has already been fixed so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

Wow those are cheap. I want to know if those will work too! The board and the company that sells it seems legit, but there are definitely some things to consider like:

#1 How exactly do you connect that thing up to your computer so that you can use the configuration software to program it? It says it has a "serial port for connecting bluetooth". LOL what the hell does that mean? Bluetooth is wireless so why would you need a "serial" port?

#2 Where does the configuration software come from? Is it freely downloadable somewhere on the internet?

#3 Once you have a way to connect the Alexmos controller to your computer and you have the software, how do you know how to program it? There are lots of YouTube videos on this subject but they are all different. It would be nice for someone to have done a comprehensive write-up on how to program/tune these plain AlexMos gimbal controllers from Amazon/eBay.

#4 Those controllers on ebay/Amazon don't have any wires that come with them. I'd like to know exactly what type of wires, how long, and what type of leads/connectors to put on them, and if they need ferrite rings or not.

That's great Bllama, thanks for the pics. It does look to me like you've got the slightly shorter gimbal motor (the 2208) for the tilt axis, and the slightly longer, more powerful motor (the 2212) for the roll axis.
