I had similar flight characteristics on my cularis, and here is what I did:

Stalls: add about 2mm reflex in the ailerons only. It will simulate washout. It does lower your efficiency, so I put it on a switch. Once I am over 100' high, I'll take the reflex out.
Motor pitch: added a few washers on the the motor to angle it down.

I'm still all about thermal hunting... it's just that this time of year most of my flying spots are muddy puddles. ☹️

There's no usable amount of lift in Colorado right now. Winds come from the west and down the foothills, creating a general pattern of sink. My Cularis is stowed for spring. Until then I'll be flying quadcopters and big wings.

I got a head tracker, pan and tilt on my radian. Going to try it out soon once the weather clears up here in the south Bay Area.

Question: If you were to buy a new OSD for an electric sailplane with flaps, which one would you pick?
By the way, I currently have a Range Video OSD v6 and I find it very limiting with the number of chanels it can handle.

Well, if you just want an OSD (no flight controller), I would go with a minim OSD standalone. You can hook up a gps and voltage.

However, if you wanted flight controller functionality, I highly recommend the vector. It's easy to configure for flapped planes, and stabilization works well on a large glider. It has good stall prevention for assisted modes, which is critical if you are doing any gliding.

    Micro Vector (for weight savings)

I have attempted soaring here in the "heat" of Arizona but it has just been a 30 second flight up and a 5 minute sled ride down. The thermals are not strong enough to hook into and ride upwards.

I imagine slope soaring would work, but at 30 degree Farenheit you wouldn't really want to go out on a windy day and stand on a slope. Even bundled up I think the wind would slice right through you.
