Silly question I'm sure. Why are you guys not using cleanflight plane?

load cleanflight on your board. shake it and watch the instruments ...
the same problems as in the aged dcm implementation.
but now it's the clean code variant ...

ok so it simply doesn't work. I was hoping that this wasn't the case.

that is not true for all cases.
but for fixed wing you might run into problems.
high speed turns are prob. the worst thing for cleanflight.
flying through turbolent areas is a problem as well as you loose control.
this is when flying with accelerometer assistence.

but racing means gyro only - and there it is ok.
alas i am not happy with betaflight 3.0 ...

    Rank..
There are 2 ways to enter to RTH...
The first is by flicking the switch, and the second by RTH..
The first one activate and deactive just with the same switch. Even when you decide to use the failsafe by receiver only, it will be like this as the failsafe will be moving the switch to one position no another.
The second way is by Naze Failsafe (as you refered). This one its easy to enter when for a moment you loose signal, but to get out is a little bit different. Its not only to move back the RTH switch. Also you have to move the switch where you have the Passthrougth mode, from angle/horizon, to passtrought and back again to angle/horizon (stab) if you want to be stabilized.
I prefer the failsafe by naze as it will try to land the plane if I dont deactivate RTH...
Also, its normal that you can input control when the RTH is functioning in failsafe mode.

Im on the run.. sorry not detailing any more

    Howdy @PatrikE

I've not published this on my YouTube channel yet, we have one more part before it goes live (where iNav tries to kill the Teksumo), but I thought you'd like to see your BaseFlight Airplane working and a very, very happy chap!

Will any of the min f3 boards work on airplanes/with baseflight?

Im going to build a tiny micro skyhunter, but want to add a board with sbus support to it.
As far as i know, none of the small naze32 boards have the needed sbus inverter.

Edit: just found the baseflight firmware files, and they only exsist for the naze32 and another board.
So no F3 for airplanes i guess.

    iNav works on F3 boards.
And even trough the guy in the past video was unlucky there are many of us flying iNav with great success. I have hours of flight time on my plane without any issue.

Apperantly there may be an issue regarding barometer on Naze32 board and iNav, which the guy in the previous video may have encountered, so disabling barometer on those board are proberly wise.
Sadly no one has caught the issue with an blackbox log so its hard to find the cause.

    Howdy Oleost,

Yep I'm going to order a F3 board and give iNav a whirl on that later. The board that was used in that video can be sent to anyone willing to have a look at it. It's bin fodder currently.

Currently I'm battling a CC3D & Libre Pilot which doesn't want to move the elevon servos, grrrrr

    @PatrikE

gps_wp_radius is that the radius for the return to home/loiter features?

As we saw in the video above the radius is pretty big, I'd like to make that smaller because one of the flying sites I fly at has a road right behind us.
