You have 3 versions of baseflight airplane available. Which one would you suggest for a Flying Wing?

There's some questions about if cruise mode works proporly though.

Noted on the cruise mode. Would Angle or Horizon + Baro & Mag being enabled at the same time be a viable alternative for now?

Note: It's a 10 DoF board I'm using.

Hi Matt,
Baro & Mag is not supported in Fixedwing.
All data is collected from GPS.
Maybe Horizon and MAG together could work but definitely not BARO.

Howdy PatrikE,

I took the Teksumo up for a flight this afternoon, I have a slight issue with gains. The elevons on the Teksumo are fluttering badly, especially at high speeds, even medium speed as well.

I tried changing the gains on the flightline, but it didn't make any difference. What would you suggest tweaking to tone them down a touch?

Note: I have video footage if it helps. They really do flap around a lot!

PS. RTH and loiter worked brilliantly, need to find the setting to change the loiter radius, it's rather large at the moment

My Z-84 flies beautifully in stab mode, but I haven't tested RTH feature much before.

So Today, I went to give it a good test, brought the plane to 100 meters height and flicked the switch.
It worked pretty well. So I did some flying around and tested RTH a few more times. No problem so far.

Then, at the end of the second flight, I noticed I can't disactivate RTH mode anymore, flicking it back to Stab was not working. At the same time, the plane was slightly reacting to my inputs on the Taranis. I tried rebooting the transmitter, but that didn't help.

Then I decided to try to land it with whatever control I had on the plane, as it was still reacting to the inputs to some degree.
Suddenly the plane took a steep dive and slammed into the ground, you can see on the video, the throttle goes very low just before that.

Have to mention, that I remember reading that the failsafe needs to be done on naze and not to use the receiver failsafe.
When I was testing naza's failsafe, I couldn't get it triggered, by switching off the transmitter, so, I did exactly that, setting failsafe on the receiver and forgot to disable it in naze.

Nonetheless, I'm still very confused about what happened, the receiver (L9R) worked beautifully at 1.7km distance just minutes before that, and I have a doubt that the failsafe ever kicked in. It's just that I couldn't disable the RTH after manually flicking it on at 4.05 of the video.
Right after the crash, I flicked the switch to "Disarm" and it worked.


Anyways, if you guys can help me to figure out what happened, from the video, that would be great.




P.S. Also, noticed the the RTH height is not working really well. Mine was set to 100meters, but the plane would go as low as 50 and then slowly climbed, but not to the preset height.

It looks like it cut throttle right over your head at the home position then winged over into an uncontrolled dive. I'm not sure why it didn't or couldn't pull out of it. I saw also that the Altitude hold was stuck around 80m and you said yours was set to 100m so that's troubling right there.

How are you powering your servos, naze32, gps, minimosd, and RX?
