So the HS1175 is identical to the HS1171, other than now being 5-15V opposed to 12V?

Yes HS1175 is 600tvl mini sony super had II CCD camera with 2.1mm lens, and the HS1171 is the mini 600tvl sony super had II CCD camera with 2.8mm lens

    HS1175 and HS1171 supports DC5V to DC15V, it means ranging from 5V to 15V, includes DC5V, DC12V, up to DC15V.

    Best Regards
    David

Here is the size comparison side by side of the Runcam/PZ0420 and HS1171 from Surveilzone. Also note the OSD display and control of cam settings is the same for both these cams.

The other photo is the mod to the HS1171 OSD control cable. This allows the Cam OSD to be easily connected temporalily to the FPV Vtx/OSD set up in the model. The micro JST 1.25 4 Pin pigtail male/female sets are available cheap on ebay. With the mod the wire colours are connected wire colour to wire colour all the same.

BEWARE..Ebay JST 1.25 4Pin have a different colour order on the connector pins. Make sure you re-arrange the pin wire colours on the Ebay pigtails. This is easy to do by lifting the connector pin retainer tab to release the pins and then re-arrange the wire colour order. The photo of the JST micro pigtails have been re-arranged to suit the HS1171 cam.

I have noted some comment regarding RFI from FPV cams and interference to UHF 433MHz LRS and also GPS modules. . The HS1171 is a small footprint cam in a metal case. The cam is full shielded for RFI.

David, Surveilzone, I hope this post on your sponsor gate thread is not out of order. This post is forwarding some information that FPV users may find useful.

Thanks for the naked picture, I'm actually building a mini tricopter frame, I want to make a tilt mount for it, can you post the mounting holes schemes ?

ps: I'm the guy who sent you an email few minutes ago about the wrong shipping name.

    Thanks

Testing out both cameras the 650 on the right and the 600 on the left ( with sticker ). Notice the wiring. Thought they would be the same but they are not. Hope this helps those that had this issue too.

From May 2014, we've changed the wire order of the 650tvl camera the same as the 600tvl camera. Sorry for not updating promptly to the forum.
