One more question about width.

when it is deployed, It doesn't look concentric.

I assume it is 680mm diagonally, so I am wondering what it measures between the two front props. center to center of the hub.

But when i go to buy my escs, i wanna use the afro slim, but i canīt find the inner space inside the carbon fiber arms.

Can someone, tell me, what is the arms inside diameter??

Inner diameter is about 13mm so they should fit

I started building up the frame but left the top plate off for running wiring and such. I'm coming from a tricopter so any advice on component placement would be helpful. Planned componets are:
3dr Pixhawk with GPS (mount this on a stalk??)
EZUHF 8ch diversity Rx
5.8ghz video Tx (will eventually be 2.4)
Tarot gimbal with go pro
TBS 69 cam
TBS core
AFRO 30a ESCs
Turnigy Multistar 4822-570kv motors
battery 4s ?????
prop 14 or 15" ?????

So here are some pics....Overall good build quality and components packaged neatly with screws grouped accordingly. Biggest issue thus far is the poorly drilled arms. None of them were straight and I had to re drill all 4 arms on my drill press. It was a pain mounting the arm pivots.

Seems to be good quality and sturdy when all buttoned up. Again I am ignorant to quad frames and could use some guidance on component placement.

Oh and how are the two plates that go up around the gimbal mount supposed to be utilized??

The same goodies arrived at my door today. I will run mine with 6s (2x 40C 4000mah 3S in series), 380kv sunny skies and some big-ass props (15"*5.5 mkII). I also ordered 4x 15cm-long 16mm carbon tubes, 4 sets of tarot foldable boom-end supports and boom-retaining brackets to make 4 landing legs that fold inwards to compact the quad for transport. But first things first, is there any explosion diagram or assembly manual, or do we have to google for photos of this quad to see how it all goes together?

Good idea, but I supouse this legs are smaller than the h4 alien original legs, arenīt they?

H4 alien frame( obiusly)
4-Turnigy Multistar 4822-490Kv 22Pole
1- naza -m lite + gps
4-Afro Slim 20Amp Multi-rotor Motor Speed Controller (SimonK Firmware) and its Afro ESC USB Programming Tool.
4-Props:1555 15X55 Carbon Fiber Propeller Prop
1- lipo 4s, 5000 mah, 30C
1-lawmate 500 for video 1,2, ommni direccional atenna
1-orage 1w 433mhz for radio, inverted vee antenna.
And a 2d gimbal for mobius mini camera.
2 led stripe ( red and white) for direccional orientation, when not using the googles.
Im not sure if i forget something.

And thanks a lot for the inner diameter of the arms.
