    Check here:https://github.com/openLRSng/openLRS...y-(DX8-DX9-etc.)
I have a early dx8 with no problems. Ground and ppm to the mono jack and running power from a lipo, sharing the ground from the mono jack and battery. Have you tried to power up your dtf and then plugging in your mono jack? Also check to see how many channels your dx18 is outputting, that may cause a problem.

Can someone tell me how I setup failsafe on DTF mini-Rx? I have one like this.
There's no f/s "buttons to press; as directed by manual:

To set failsafe controls to a specific position, turn on a bound transmitter and receiver pair, hold the controls in the failsafe position, and hold down the bind button until the transmitter beeps and the red LED flashes on both the receiver and transmitter. Failsafe information is now set. Always test failsafe operation BEFORE you need to rely on it.

Yeah that is on openlrs. Not much of a manual and you already found it.

Fs delay in there is just how much time the rx can go without signal before it actually goes into failsafe. The button you need is on the tx itself, not on the rx.

for forums knowledge sake I will add this here...I have ran my DTF UHF 1W Jr module about 10-15 seconds without an antenna by accident. There have been other accidents in the past of a few seconds at most as well so I figured it was time to test output. I get 28.7dBm peak (.740 watts). Its spec'd at 800mw so I doubt I have ever done any damage to it.

It looks like a quick mistake is fine with these, but it was certainly warm after the 10-15 seconds so damage would likely happen if it wasn't turned off.
