I went back to the same spot the next day to try and catch the sunset. It turned out just OK.

I'm not even close to running out of amazing flying spots, all within an hour of my new home.

I'm back, baby! It took me nearly two weeks to cut the footage from my last adventure down from 45 minutes to 3. But I think it turned out OK. I need to retune my Cinetank for altitude. These flights were all above 10,000 feet. I just hate to burn a battery on tuning! Also, I think this video proves it's time for me to finally buy a gimbal. So many of these shots are close to perfect and I think a gimbal will take me over the edge.

Sheesh! I haven't flown or even worked on anything in two months! I had too much "real" work to do. I also did a gig in Arizona and didn't have time before I left to pack my quad, so I missed out on some amazing footage in Monument Valley, Navajo Nation, and Ute Nation. Oh well. Next time.

But I finally got the ol' Cinetank in the air this weekend and captured some pretty awesome stuff.

Filmed at Fisher Towers, near Moab, UT.

Also, Bllama, I've sent you a PM.
