Reducing the noise of my components?

I did a search, but didn't happen to find what I'm looking. Possibly I don't know how to word it correctly to get the results I want.

About to build a new quad. My last was a hex, that was pretty much trial and error figuring it out. Fortunately I'm in a position to do things better this time.

I've been reading as much as I can, on all sort of things, so that when my kit arrives, I have info and resources stored away for the build process.

Been seeing in some threads lately, about keep the radio interference as low as possible. But am not doing across exactly what makes a craft noisy and the best ways to prevent, or reduce that noise.

Anyone have any links to info or other threads about this, or any advice on the subject.

    Thank you,
    Jeff

I'm still tweaking my setup myself, however if you focus on the video system, ferrite rings, power filters, and shielding your components with copper tape or foil tape will help keep noise down. It also boosts video range!

If you can buy or borrow an RF Explorer that will help you out. Copper Shielding Tape, metal fabric shielding tape like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/20mm-Silver-...item415cc94810 , Component Separation, two battery setups, will all help. Mutirotors can be a bitch because everything is so close but it can be done.

Thanks for the advice. I bought some copper tape, used in shielding electric guitars. Figure I'll be able to cut how ever I need it to be. I'll figure out the rest as I go along.

mu metal works too but it's pricey. It's designed for emi/rfi shielding.
