Gopro Hero3 and DJI 5.8ghz video down link. DJI AVL58

    Guidance needed!
I have the gopro lead which has one end that plugs in to the side of the gopro and at the other end a black, white and red wire. Then I have the lead that comes with the DJI AVL58 for the TX component. This lead has the 8 pin connector plugging in to the bottom of the TX. I have stripped the wires back at the other end of this lead and have the 4 wires sorted for the + and - for the power. Which leaves me with 4 wires. According to DJI 2 are for channels and the remaining 2 for the video in to the TX.

My guidance needed is gopro cable has 3 wires and AVL58 has 4 wires left over. Guide me please someone. This is purely gopro video live down link. No OSD or any other peripherals.

I am getting flashing LEDs on the RX unit. On the TX, only the fan comes on and there are no flashing LEDs.

If pics are needed I can sort them out.

Your Vtx can most likely also transmit stereo audio, while the video-out of the Gopro does not have stereo audio-out only mono, hence the left-over wires.

Do you have pictures of all the gear used and perhaps a diagram how everything is wired?

    Also, perhaps this is useful:

Worked perfectly thanks. In fact I made some spares. Thanks again.
