I will see what I can do.
When the Governments can't Control or Regulate it ALWAYS becomes illegal.
400' Alt rule does not apply. I did FPV long before it was called FPV.
I find the closer to the ground I get my chances of crashing increases .

I posted around and the consensus is it's some sort of microcontroller and not an LED driver. I went through some PIC, and STM offerings but haven't found anything solid yet...still looking.

You'll also need the software to program it so I dont think you'll get it repaired.

Hello Martin Y, I have been looking for the same part, I have two Lumineer 600mw pro that cooked the same part..It could be an I/O expander used to drive the leds via the button input... If you find out Please drop me a note so I can fix mine...meanwhile I will try to get some time to scope out more info by checking out the pin to pin connections.

Hey, guys! Been a while (that's a good thing with this thread, am I right?).

This is the latest thing I have broken and also makes me the most sad. I was just poking around at it with a multimeter while it was connected to usb. Now it does not power on by USB. It does work if I connect the 5V rail to a BEC and it works when powered with a lipo. I'm a bit stumped. I thought it was the voltage regulator (possible a SPX3819) but that does not seem to be the case since it works the other two ways. My guess is that I shorted the ground and vin or en momentarily. There is a tiny component on the USB side that is connected to USB 5V on one side and the vreg vin and en on the other. Could that be the culprit?

Edit: it does appear that the diode looking thing next to the usb port is the problem. Can anyone suggest a suitable replacement? It has SL written on it with like a sideways 6 with two dots underneath.

Edit2: The voltage drop across that diode is only .114v according to my craftsman 82334. That seems really low. Is it possible that the test result is incorrect because the diode is still installed on the board? But all the others I've tested from various broken electronics are more like .5v and that's also while still installed. I suppose I could use one of those other ones and just have slightly lower voltage to the regulator when connected via USB.

Camera repair, maybe a blown crystal?

Screwed up on launching my my Mini Vector and the camera took a decent shock/impact. All I get is a black background with the vectors overlay. Swapping the camera out fixed it, and all else is fine.

Is this one of the units with the crystal which blows easily on impact? It's got one of those round-can variety crystals.

This camera works really well for a $30 camera, check it out.

    Hello.
What i have here is a Novak Havoc speed controller. Don't have any paper work for it.

It would work intermittently, ESC showed receiving signal from RX. Have no voltage output to motor. And would flash code for locked rotor.
    Motor spins good.

It looks like in pict#2 the component closes to the black wire(second from the left, top row) had a blow out.

I did not see any other damage on other pict's

    Do you think it's repairable?
    Thanks, Royce

Hey Royce, from what I can see. In the third (6) picture the regulator looks blown, from the pattern on it. Your better off with a new one to be safe. If any of the mosfets had gone they would be missing with a big black spot. Then the driver would be gone and may a few other bits as well.
