    Component Repair Service!!!

    Hello ladies!!!

Fried a camera? Overcharged a hyper-reactive configuration regulator control synergy combobulator??? Well --- FPVLAB's MARTIN Y may be able to assist you. His requirements are...

    a) please provide details of the device and what you were doing wrong when you broke it (lol)
    b) please provide highly detailed high resolution pics of the board if you can
    c) data sheets if you can get them from the manufacturer

Martin has also offered to receive your board via mail to take a look. It's probably worth the mail costs to at least get it looked at before trashing it. The parts/costs for the work is between Mark and you.

NOTE: Sometimes, things can't be repaired... tough luck - but at least you get a chance.

** if anyone else knows their way around PCBs and want to assist PM me and we'll get you added ***

I think there are lots of components that are repairable for a person with the time and tools. A lot of times it's 1 board component that needs replacing. There's prob some old HAM guy who would love to repair/service our gear. Maybe we'll find him.

the current sensor probably popped at the ground connection which is to one side of the sensor. best ping sander and ask him what exactly to look at, chances are you just need to "re-bridge" the ground with a drop of solder.

Most electronics are etched to keep people from reverse engineering them. They physically remove the part#s from the chip. Without schematics, it's tough to replace parts. I have a soldering rework station and have done a good bit of part replacement. The hard part is figuring out what part it is that needs to be replaced and what that part actually does.

Yea like Alex said - identifying & purchasing the components is the difficult bit, replacing them is usually a few minute job.
In all of my vtx's the rf power output transistor part number is removed.
I work with replacing surface mount devices all day so swapping out components isnt a problem.

400' Alt rule does not apply. I did FPV long before it was called FPV.
I find the closer to the ground I get my chances of crashing increases .

ID:	611Or take a higher resolution one and email it. wheni blow it up more it pixelates. It looks like the reverse polarity diode has shorted and burned out.
