Lumenier DX600 DVR battery drain when off

If I charge my DVR and take it off the charger in about 12 hours the battery is completely dead. Tested it twice in the last couple days, is this normal?

Verified it was off, there were no leds, thought it was a fluke the first time...

This doesn't sound normal, it is possible the battery is bad or something else is going on. We've had our own test model and used it for a while now, still on 1 charge after many hours of using it and sitting for days on end in the off position.
You may test charging it, and taking the battery out overnight, then plugging it back in and see if it is still fully charged. If so, then you know its not the battery, and possibly something else was causing a power drain.

I am attempting to get my new Lumenier DX600 DVR to record my fatshark video. Is the photoshopped image of the splice below what folks are doing to get the equipment to work together?

whatever was wrong with mine, taking the battery out and putting it back in fixed the issue. it now lasts forever.

    Glad that worked for you.

How are you connecting you goggles to the dvr, a splice like I've shown above or some other means?

    GetFPV,

I just received my Lumenier DX600. No instructions are included, and a google search isn't turning up anything. Surely there is a PDF manual out there somewhere?
My goal is to plug it in to my Fatshark Attitude SD's or my Lilliput 664. Any specific advice is appreciated.

    Hi Kelly,

There is no official manual for this DVR as all the operations and controls can be seen in the DVR menu itself. As for connecting your goggles to the DVR, yes this is very possible. Simply use your A/V out plug on your FatShark goggles, and send the signal to the A/V in of the DVR. Then you can record the flight that your goggles see as well as having a small LCD screen to view the live video.

I am recording from a ground station, so no connection to goggles.
