looks great! Thanks for the build pictures. The one outlining the arm angles will surely help others building. Some people thought the holes weren't"crooked" on purpose
- Any Acro Video using these extended arms?
- Right now I have other quad frame using SS980kv + 9HQprop + 4S and I like this setup, but I want a new frame (got tired of my wooden arms, they break too easily):
A. Shoud I get ADS400q-X and keep my 9' props stock?
B. Shoud I get ADS400q and buy a few 8'props?
A will climb and fly faster the B because it's uses 9' prop on same motors/battery, right? But how less acro A will be instead of B?

I think you will be fine with 9" props and some extra flight time unless you fly like in my videos.
Edit. Found a thread for my question

Well that didn't go so great... Jello is a killer. Perfectly balanced 9" HQ EProps, brand new SunnySky 2216 1100KV motors and a 3300mah 4S pack. Maybe it was just the GoPro HERO2 (mounted on a slab of Zeal and strapped down) recording at 30fps? I'll try 720p 60fps tomorrow. Maybe add some weight to the clean frame?
Either way, the jump from 900kv to 1100kv was a really good idea.. the POWER!
What value are most of you using for TPA? Everyone keeps talking about using it but no one is mentioning what actual value they're using.
criccio, try mounting the GoPro straight to the clean plate and use a strap of Velcro to hold it on. Everything I have put under the GoPro so far has caused jello
You will also need to bring your FC gains down when you go to higher kv motors.
