Looked them up... they have em at diyquadcopters. $44 a pop, but they come with a PDB and 8 Tiger carbon props... free shipping, too. I wonder how much difference in performance they are compared to the FX2206-13 2000kv.... wait.. are they exactly the same motors?

In partnership with GoProfessionalCases (who have been making excellent cases for our larger airframes) we are going to release a professional QAV250 flight and carrying case that is watertight and has a purge valve (useful when flying with an airtight case). It fits at least 4 lipos, a GoPro, a mobius, extra props (under the frame), a 5.8 CP antenna, etc. The QAV250 fits into the case with the props mounted. The props are held in place with foam prop chocks.

The case should go up for pre-order at GetFPV.com today and is expected to ship first week in February. Retail price is $99.

you think these will ship this week for those of us that pre ordered...or next week

This is behind hobart in tasmania, australia. i'm running the qav 250 on 4s using the team lumenier motors because it seemed be too sluggish for me on 3s and using a nanowii board for the fc.

They should be exactly the same performance.. Just more money, and a smaller 4mm prop adapter, so you will now need to run spacers on your props.

To be honest, I think Tim's motors maybe best for this copter. They have the prop adapter built in, it's the native size already for 5x3 props, and is the same specs as the tigers. Oh, and cheaper.

I have a lot of tigers on other machines.. And for bigger more $ copter I think it may make more sense. But not for something that is going to be thrown around like the 250.

    Just my thoughts.

Mine came with 5mm adapters. Not 4mm, those specs are wrong.
