My latest one. Got it back the next day, no damage done, but the batteries are toast. I'm going to set a 7 minute timer on my radio which should give me over a minute to get down, and now I can take it cool places to get good video. Need to tilt the FPV cam up some more so I can fly even faster.

Quick LOS test with a brushless gimbal on a 3D printed adapter, before the new bobbins.

Not much, but I'm a noob, so I got an excuse.

This was at a small resort in Bintan Island, Indonesia. I woke up a tad late after partying the night before, ending up rushing and baked in the sun. This was my first time to fly with almost entire packs over water, so I was a nervous wreck. The high tide didn't help, I expected at least some good amount of sandy beach to do my usual fast and low flights and banks, but I quickly realize that banking low over water is quite disconcerting (perhaps for a noob like me). The reflection can cause confusion with my judgment of the quad's altitude, so I just kept it higher and slower, and I didn't have much shoreline to play anyway. By the time the tide went down sometime after lunch, I had all my stuff packed and was waiting for the shuttle. Maybe next time. It was a good learning experience though.

I don't use any HD recorder, so it's collection of video link clips. You will see it as I saw it. Completely flown in manual/rate mode.

One from today. Waiting for my Rangelink to show up so I can get more distance. This one was out to 2200 feet.

Here goes a couple recent ones with my 400Q. First one has a mix of wing and quad. The second one is a disc... chasing my 400Q. Interesting to see how much smoother my vid is than the other quad...
