    6V solar recharger

My neigh bor gave me an industrial strength (1 ft x 1ft) 6v Solar recharger.

    WTF - I want one but 12V!!!

    What can I recharge with a 6v?

A 12v would be cool as everything is 12v..

Nothing lol . You need to check the current not only the voltage.

But with panel with 25 modules of those you can charge a 4000mAh lipo .

You should test it with a multimeter, but you will probably need a solar charge converter as well. My solar panel says "12v" but on a sunny day it puts off 20v+. You could also get another one and wire them in series.

They are great when combined with a lead-acid battery for charging flight packs, but I certainly wouldn't trust my goggles to one, a cloud passes by and you'd lose video.

Id definitely use a battery, and have this onto it, it keeps my flight box and the trailers battery topped off great. I can charge batts and planes at the field, and itll top off the batteries, going to add a panel kit to my travel trailer next

Here is the charge controller that came with the 45w kit

Holy crap you got a trailer now?

I thought I was bad with a QAV500, 540, tricopter, Zephyr, EZStar, TW40, and soon to be SkyHunter.

And those are just my FPV things, not even counting my Nitro stuff!

haha, I had to buy that trailer 10 years ago because my planes are too big to fit into my truck...

At the time I was sponsored by Composite-ARF (and a bunch of other companies)and had their 3.3m (132") yak 55SP

Doing a demo at Skagit airport

Planes in the trailer pic on the top shelf is a turbine jet, bottom left is a 43% (126"ws) PAU edge, right of that is a 106" Edge, then some smaller electrics next to the jet and on the ceiling, and have a bunch of planes that just don't all fit in there at the same time, then there is the fpv stuff.

    6V solar recharger

    It's not a charger, it's just a 6 V solar panel.
I have the I charger, there's a whole thread on battery chargers
