Talking FABER in HOSPITAL : An FPV uplift- PLEASE READ

Faber, My wingman/friend, and FPVLAB brethren
Has been in the hospital for a week now...

Background info : many years ago he had a pancreatic attack, and all was well afterwards, he had another just recently which put him in the hospital for a few days... they let him out... 4 days later, he's back in again this time for a week. According to the doctor, he's not allowed to eat or drink anything AT ALL for 3 weeks, possibly more.

Please Send Prayers and thoughts his way to help him get better.( he does get on the forums with his laptop so he will see this and possibly respond)

I was visiting him a few days ago and told him I should go get his quad so he can FPV out the window. but we were discussing the possibility of interference of all the wireless systems in the hospital..

    Uplifting:
Well His Nephew Brought him his mini quad and his ground station/goggles and he was able to go on the hospital grounds and fly for a bit - which really lifted his spirits up

see the video of FABER outside the hospital flying FPV here.

This was able to lift his spirits up

again please post your thoughts and prayers for him

    Thank you
    DeadlyPope

Thank you for the well wishes and kind words. DeadlyPope is a great friend. It is a real blessing to have the support of family, and friends in a time like this. Being able to do a little flying was a great boost for the spirit. Fpv is an out of body experience for me, and very much a welcome break from the current in body experience of late.

    thanks guys!

I think i know a bit how you feel, Faber. The last four months i have (probably) the most shittiest months of my life. I am fpv-ing for just a year now, bit i am now realising that in FPV i gained sort of a friend. It lets you forget (for a moment) your problems, it makes you smile, lifts your spirit and it keeps your mind occupied in a good way. (sounds almost like a girlfriend but i am not giving you guys that honour)

Faber, all the best and hopefully you will get well soon.
