    e calc says @ 27000 rpm i am getting 120mph pitch, i only see 27000 when in a massive dive.

    static thrust is on a stalled prop, as the prop gains airspeed it gains traction and becomes un-stalled increasing its effectiveness and gaining thrust.

    Gotcha on the pitch-speed. With hindsight that's what I thought you were saying

    Once your prop get traction though, the effective thrust will decrease as your air-speed increases. Power = thrust x speed, so it must hold true therefore that as your speed increases, your effective thrust decreases.

    I already told Tim to get some ZII kits together (42mm yokes, 10x7 and 10x6 props). Bug him again...

    Working on it... Will soon start selling Graupner spinners 38/5/8, with prop halves, and prop stop.
