DJI iOSD convertable to feet vs meters

Anyone know if there is a way to get the DJI iOSD altitude, distance, and velocities to show in feet? Seems like it would be and easy software input. I emailed DJI, but no response yet. ~Wailer

DJI emailed me back, but just referred me to the iOSD setup video they have on line which does not address my inquiry. They did not answer my basic question. Sometimes I feel like the people responding don't know their own products or what developments are happening with them. I obviously didn't get to someone who would know. I may try again. Anyone else have any ideas? ~Wailer

Wailer, Power the unit, plug your dji osd to the computer using firmware support update form dji, utilize the micro usb supplied. Yup DJI NAZA really sucks with consumer support.

Is that a yes? A new firmware version allows for the conversion for meters to feet?

Download the latest firmware from DJI support on specific DJI iOSD.. then go thru the links with sets of option which includes the conversion.

Awesome! I'll have to do this straight away. I wonder if my emails resulted in the change. They told me they were forwarding it on to their engineers! This is wonderful news! THANKS!

OK Swiyper, you had me feeling good for a moment! Unfortunately it did not last! I just hooked up my controller to the DJI iOSD Assistant and likev9climber, I can't find any way to change meters to feet in the software! The only thing it allows for is moving the left and right column displays further inboard and firmware updates (which I did). You can also set height and distance alarms (in meters only), but nothing said of any conversion. Maybe v9climber and I are just slow to grasp what you are saying. What "links" and where are you seeing them? If this is really doable I will be pretty excited!

Did you guys plug the micro usb wires to the micro usb port of the DJI iosd to your computer? My Dji iosd is Mark ii never a problem with it ..EXCEPT that it drains lots of amps from my main power source , from 10 minutes flight down to 6 minutes .. so i quit using it.

Yeah, I used the micro USB but never saw anything that would solve the conversion issue. And I haven't noticed a great drain on the battery. My flight times on a 2500 gram F550 is about 8 minutes (stock motors and ESC's). That includes the new DJI H3-2D gimbal with Go Pro. I'm running Naza M v2. Maybe that helps? At any rate, I'm not seeing anything in the software that's gives an option to change meters to feet. Where did you see it?
