Electronic car key fobs fail on Southampton street

Ok, own up, which one of you is using your long-range UHF control system in Southampton, England?

Lol, yeah, I mess with people at the field all the time. When people want to leave I just turn on my DL and they cant unlock their cars. A lot of people don't realize that their UHF radios do that.

I was flying an hour away from my house once and after trying to get into my car for 30 minutes I almost made my wife drive me my spares. Putting all my gear away I noticed the DL was on, turned it off and my doors could unlock again.

This messed me up for a while until I figured it out with my own car. It is amazing that car locks rely on such weak technology...

Lol not random people, my flying buddies. Although it would make for some funny video to just leave your UHF on in your car in the middle of a mall parking lot. Just dont lock your own doors lmfao
