Bobbins arrived a while ago, finally had a few minutes up the sleeve to take a decent look at them and mount them. Absolutely excellent, previously was just using some cheap black bobbins I bought off ebay, these clear ones are super super soft! You can nearly pull the silicone inside out if you try and bend the thread far enoughWanted to see how far they go before the break/unglue, neither happened it literally just bent at nearly a right angle.
I'm cutting up a mount for a new quad shortly, ordered 10 more bobbins.
I got 6 in the mail... thanks... now I gotta go dust this thing off and see what it takes to fly it..
Will likely install some zip ties (loosely) to limit just how far these things can be stretched after installed.. perhaps when they reach 25-50% of stretch, the support of the zip ties will keep them from breaking?

Poke it with a fork.. done...
Just coat them in more silicone!
There is no comparison to how these perform, even the GetFPV bobbins. Go right ahead and test them side by side. The fastener will dislodge in a crash but CA is all you need to reseat it.
I did a lot of research on materials and vibration isolation, probably enough to pass an engineering class on the subject of transmissibility and propagation. A friend of mine who works at Siemens was able to provide testing data and suggestions since he does this sort of thing for a living.
can you post the test data?
I would start at 42 and go from there.
Chatch - is it still ok to order a couple of sets of these from REALfpv.com? Stock ok?
Cheers!
