Dam! I was just telling the GF yesterday that my next build was going to be a mini quad... I'll be watching for more details!

do you have a target mAh for the batt?

    Looks great.

I am curious about having a single piece plate and arms... do your best to try and break an arm! It should be pretty hard to do given the size and weight of this little guy, but could be a potential point of failure/PITA for repair. I have a few hexTronik 5gram Brushless Outrunner 2000kv that might just find a nice home in a frame like this. What options are their for ESCs in the 5-10amp range (with SimonK or similar flash)? What battery size are you looking at (I have a few 2s 800mAh sitting around)?
When nothing else out there will suit your needs... design and build it yourself.

i'm using 3.175mm G10 for the prototype and possibly 3mm thick carbon fiber if it's too weak. i can also look at detaching the arms, but for my personal quad i'm totally fine with one piece.

i would have to rework the bobbin layout if the arms are sandwiched like a "normal" frame. right now it fits perfectly if i put a normal M3 nut on either side of the bobbins before attaching them.

A 1300mAh 3S battery is pictured in the drawing. I will be using 1900-2200kv motors on 3S. 3000-3300kv will work on 2S. This will be another 3D quad for me, so I am using blueseries 12A ESC. they are very small and can take the spike of reversing motor direction.

the quad is balanced very well with the components placed exactly as above.
