I sent Spanky out the window this afternoon. Almost took my dog out on the return lol. I cut the motors as soon as I saw him through the goggles....

so for the people with the first revision spanky.

How do we fit sunny sky motors onto this thing? Do we just put the frame on the drill press and drill out some holes? Looks like I have to enlarge 2 and enlarge the center one.

I prefer Spanky. And here's why:

    -Half the price
-Just as durable, maybe more so
-Zero jello footage. The blackout requires an anti-vibration mount that pops off almost every time I crash
-Slightly longer "wheelbase". Spanky feels more stable, especially with a heavy build

    Positives of Blackout:

    -Looks incredible
    -Lighter (50grams)
    -Looks incredible lol

Basically, they are the same but you can't beat Spanky for the price. I would have bought another Spanky if I could go back. But damn Blackout looks good. People are always drawn to carbon fiber--me included.

I recommend Spanky to everyone. But you can't go wrong with either.

I had the worst crash with Spanky so far. I went full-speed into a tree as I was diving. Put a 1 inch deep divot into the tree trunk.

Nothing on the frame broke. Nothing. I only tore one bobbin and broke all props.

I love how durable this little beast is.
