Is that G10?
Is that G10?
the spacers were 3d printed by a buddy of mine
Hi!
What material of arms? It's look like a wood.
So you're hoping to mitigate vibes using 3s printed motor spacers? What material?
Looks good... i just joined the club myself.
Hi Chatch,
what G10 flat arm weight?
and what weight extended G10 flat arm?
thank you

KK2.0, but waiting on a Flip32...
well, someone has to be a little different,
I received my kit the other day, so I've been thinking about how to put it together.
The ESC I have are the ZTW spiders 30 Amp, I've watch a few videos and read through many posts, and somehow everyone's been able to make everything fit in the Dirty plate area. I supposed could have forced everything to fit, but with my luck, right when i got it airborne the wires would short, and it would become a fireball streaking through the sky. not to worry, when it hits the ground, the arms would still be in-tacked.
This is the progress on the build so far
I moved the power distribution board to the top of the dirty plate, this allowed me to have a more "relaxed" fit for the ESC, sense this picture was taken I've reversed 2 of the motor lead.
the motors I'm using are the sunnysky
2216 KV1100
ESC
ZTW 30 amp OPTO with the simonK firmware
flight controller
well, I got one of those kk2.15's, it seemed to work, plugged it in, it lighted up ok, hooked a few servos and a radio on it, seemed like it was a bit too squirrely,
update on the kk2:
The firmware was a very early version, so updated to 1.9
I'm in the process of making a CC3D FC. well see how that goes.
one thing i like about the power distribution board,

is the dual voltage BEC's, so far they seem to work, time will tell.

Another update on my build,
Flight controllers, finished building the CC3D, it worked ok, actually i was pretty happy with it from the software user interface aspect, and then the love affair ended when i had to make up the wiring harness with the connectors. So I got a flip32+, real happy with it, lot of function wasn't to sure about, baro, magnetometer, so i figured might as well get a ACRO Naze 32, which I'm currently using, pretty much work right out of the box, as far as the pid's go.
I'm using 5.8 Ghz vtx, I had to make my own cloverleaf antenna, following IBCrazy's DIY, works very well, It seem those low cost 5.8 clovers leafs antennas had a high SWR when i check with a direction coupler.
Everything turned out well, I've only broke 1 bobbin so far on a rough landing.
