Oh man, that would have been an epic dive! damn soccer nets getting in the way. You will definatly be one of the top contenders for the best crash!
When nothing else out there will suit your needs... design and build it yourself.

Unfortunately the nets did not get in the way. That was the whole idea but my aim was a bit off

Here's a quick test just to see how my 2M "Super Raptor" holds up in a dive... I was worried about wing flap, but the laminated EPO is nice and stiff! My DVR didn't record :/ But i remember a max altitude around 4750' AGL, and a top speed just over 100mph. I think this platform is capable of climbing over 10,000 AGL in the right conditions

CFM, that was sick. There was a bit of flapping going on .. kudos to you for flying through it.. I'm not sure If I would have been able to keep diving if I saw any flutter. I would have chickened out. hehe.

Should I add this one to the contest submissions then?

I don't think you watched to the end, it definitely says Dragon OSD on the credits :-)

Ah, I suppose... Just in case I dont have time before this ends to re-try! But anyone who's willing to truly sacrifice an airframe is gonna win this! I like the soccer net idea... anyone want to drop one into a swimming pool at 100mph and film from underwater with a GoPro?

Holy shit.. that is a brilliant Idea! Get some bright lights in ziplog bags illuminating the pool from under water so when you play that "dive" in 720p at 120fps, it'll all look sharp.
    Damn.. ultimate dive!

Hrrm... >strokes chin< I may know just the place!
