Awesome dive simpson! Glad to see the penguin can handle it. I'm looking to put together a penguin of my own in the coming weeks and it's nice to know she can handle.. ermm.. passionate flying.

This is from awhile ago just to get the juices flowing. I've got some ideas for a better dive

Cool dives! Remember you have to name them according to the rules otherwise I still win.
I have a killer idea for a dive...

Wish the video recording had survived from when my bixler's wings flapped off, that was a dive and a half

renamed an exisitng video as there's no way i fly this high any more!!

go to 4:40 for the dive from 2680m/8800'

For a "glider" rig, you really can't beat it. Could not be happier with this air frame. Hoping you buy it, love it and then get inspired to make some decals for the wings in your shop.

rclover.. no reason multirotors can't get in on the fun. I've seen some pretty impressive 'copter dives before.

Wow man! That is a terrifyingly beautiful view Mike!

At first when you dove in, I didn't realize you were fastforwarding the video.. I was like "HOLY SHIT THAT'S FAST.... oh"

    Crazy height and amazing sights!

I'll add it to the list.
btw.. what OSD is that? It's nice and clean.

That's the plan! I'm eagerly waiting for Tim to get back from his 4th of July vacay so I can set up my order and get my build started.
Can't wait to start dressing it up with awesome decals.

Here's my entry. Things didn't go quite as planned...

My plan was to do a vertical dive into a net at high speed. Hitting the pole wasn't part of the plan...
Note that the guy under the net (Gravity Thief, in need of clean underpants) was safe even though it didn't look like it. The net is made from thick nylon and is very secure.
All the electronics survived but the wing itself is wrecked. Still, it was good for a laugh!
