Issues with binding a new EzUHF receiver

Hoping the community can help and not sure if I'm having issues with regard to the receiver recall, but here's my current issue .. Oh, and yes, I've read the sticky with regard to binding plus I searched other bind issue threads.

Note: I've been using another EzUHF RX + by EzUHF TX with my Futaba 9CAP with no issues. The problems that I'm having are with a brand new RX.

    Software versions:
    RX - 1.41
    TX - 1.25a

Normal bind (exactly per the sticky)
The TX goes into bind mode (steady beeps). I power up the RX and quickly depress the bind button. The LED goes out but then nothing else happens. No blinking LED, no stead LED, nothing.

    Bind via the software installer:
Put the TX in bind mode as per before. Plug in the USB to the RX. Push the "bind" button. It "spins" for a while and then indicates that the bind was successful. I power down the RX, then the TX, then power up TX and then RX. No movement from the servos. When I plug the USB into the receiver, I notice that the matching TX Id = 1. I don't think this is right. My TX id = 63509.

As per the troubleshooting guide I've:
Tried with out antennas attached to the RX
Tried putting more distance between the RX and the TX
Made sure that the frequency band was correct (433-435)
Made sure that all the firmware is all up-to-date.
Put in a ticket with the dealer (RMRC) - haven't heard anything from them yet.

I did notice the recall notice. My RX DOES have a metal can but it DOES ALSO have the QC sticker ... so I'm guessing that's not the issue.

    HELP!! (please)

    TIA,
    Peter

Isn't it important to have the very same software version in the TX as in the RX?. Or is this too logical... :-) So try to upgrade your TX to 1.41 or downgrade the new RX to 1.25a.

as mentioned in your info....Made sure that all the firmware is all up-to-date. :-)

    hope this helps ...

Yep! Ok, I'm going to nominate myself for the dumb ass award:

RX and TX at 1.41 = successful bind!!

Thanks guys! Guess I didn't think that the RX and TX rev levels would necessarily match in lock-step, but it makes sense that it does!

    Thanks guys!!

Seems the gear out there comes with different FW versions, a friend of mine just had the exact same problem this week.

Can be... I know a shop where the have(had) earlier batch TX in stock.(RX sold out longer time) They are not automaticly updating the firmware before delivery to customer.
