LETS TALK CHARGERS

Time to upgrade to a decent multiple-charger (lipo) since my bigger models run 5000mAh or bigger. I'd like to be able to charge 1 - 4 lipos simultaneously. It's fine if it will require an auxiliary PSU for AC operation. It'll also need to work with DC for duty @ the field. Will @ least be able to do 5a, as well as balance/discharge as well.

Check out the iCharger 1010B+. It's a bit pricey but from what I've read it's really precise and reliable. I think you can even use the iCharger plus models for foam-cutting. I don't own one but I'm considering the cheaper 106b+ model to replace my current charger.

^^ That only will charge 1 pack though right?? I have the Venom equivalent of that charger - but I need something that can do 2 packs simulateneously (MINIMUM).

You will want something with an external power supply, since the ones with an integrated one are typically limited to 50W or so. Personally I use a high end Hyperion charger with a parallel charging board, so I can charge up to 6 packs at the same time. With a sufficient power supply it'll charge 6x 5000Mah @ 1C (30A). I have some friends with iChargers and they're good too. Just get one of those parallel charging boards and you're good.

I've been looking at this one but it's not in stock currently.

I have that one and like it however with my 3.3 4s batts I can only charge 2 of them at 1c.
As Far as usage It has worked very well for me on all functions used with one fault, port#3 doesn't discharge for some reason.
If anyone has seen a charger that will charge in the 12 amp range that would be nice.

I would buy another for the dollar per value ratio.

you pay mint for multi chargers that have high charge rates.

these have high charge rate, and are cheap just buy a stack of em
