Gopro first buffers video in internal memory, writing to sd-card is always a few (10-30) seconds behind. Most often contact to SD card is lost on impact so buffer cannot be written -> you lose the last seconds of video before impact.

Great job there Tobi, and kudos for the heli team too!!
Hope my Zeph will be operational soon (still short on the EZUHF Rx) so we can give a try to that mountain nearby

OH, and we have a helibase here too...

Amazing, excellent, I'd have done the same. I love my Zephyr. That's why I don't fly it anymore LOL (Until summer).

    Congrats, woot!
Will post a loooong story there soon! I'll fly up there again asap.. Damn rookie mistake.

Thanks hehe, but you gotta save the new version, will be online soon. Looks a bit more "legal" regarding the GS footage

Frame broken but repairable, GoPro looked ok but isn't working anymore, the rest looks fine. Will post a detailed report on the SAR-thread.

Hehe, you would need a big quad with two cameras and a lot of mAh, and 24hours later there was a lot of rain, so it had to be the quick way. ;-)

Looking forward to it! Yes, one of the lessons learned: It's not a bad idea to have a helibase nearby... ;-)

F*cking A! Two of my favourite things, FPV plus full scale helicopters. One of the coolest vids I've seen in a long time!
