    Just use fuse for that like you have on your car.

    When the car as some sort of crash there are no ejection on electronic components . Those fuses are there to protect different circuits.

    For more overkill project you really can switch off parts that deal with low amps like VTX and camera. You can use a board with a 3A relay and swith remotely using a dedicated channel.
