People aren't dummys. Just ignorant of how things work until it is explained to them without a ton of technical jargon. Even I get confused they way some people explain this stuff...

If it is broken, fix it. if it isn't broken, I'll soon fix that.

Appreciate it IBC... Been a pilot for 5 years now, but slipping into FPV to fly just outside our field. No large miles for me. I've watched almost all your vids. I know you mention from time to time Noise Floor. I understand what you mean, but is there a relatively easy/inexpensive way to measure what floor I have at our field? I don't think there will be much, since all we have is row crops around it. The white dot is our location, relative to the surrounding area.

Hi channel... In NW TN. corn/wheat country.

My game plan is to use 72mhz for plane control, 1.2 for Video. Or at least that's what's in my head. This is my winter project. So I'm trying to do some homework, and build accordingly.
For my ground station I "think" i'll end up with a RHCP and Yaggi .... along with a LCD display.

I have a good friend who is going to me his JR 72mhz TX/RX, since he's all on 2.4 now.

My plan is to stay away from going east, as it goes over a pretty busy 2 lane highway. North, West is all fields. The blue and white are just projected flying areas.
