Thread: TBS CAIPIRINHA - small flying wing

spars and ribbons are included to fully kit the plane, but you don't need to insert them as a little spar will give you plenty of strength. laminate is not required, you can cover with packing tape or monokote ... or something else that we're working on full speed.

I'd prefer white... Or a method of spray painting over black that works without adding weight.

jimmaplesong, since you pre-ordered a white one ... on a scale of 1 to 10 how pissed would you be if we shipped a black one? totally serious question. would white tape fix the issue for you?

Awesome I read that the slots were there, I assumed the spars themselves weren't

Yeah, I was gonna put some tape on the leading edges (seemed like a good idea for crashing etc)

So wait will mine be black, order #5450, I am so drooling at the prospects of black.

Also please stop making products I want my wallet is starting to hurt

P.S. The idea of the preorders being black and then switching to a white run again (while probably not easy) would be a really cool sort of bonus for those of us who preordered (I think mine counted as a pre-order O.o)

    Noooo
black is harder to see, easier to lose, etc.
But I suppose it would show less dirt, and get the chicks......

I would prefer white actually. Black is fine and dandy, but in the summer sun it is not fun. Also, I find I have a lot more flexibility painting over white than trying to paint over black. With black the only option pretty much is to use some sort of covering, which will add weight and is a pain to do. White vote for me.
