    mounting cloverleaf on the fuselage

Im curious how to mount my new cloverleaf on the skywalker tail boom. The cloverleaf has the coaxial extension and since the vtx is mounted on the boom and my DL antenna on the tail, I need to have the cloverleaf between the prop and tail. Do i lay it flat on the boom and attach? Can I wrap the coax around the boom once then into the vtx?

I say yes to both. I have mounted mine in the same way on a radian, easystar, ad skywalker. I build my own, but all have had about a 4-6" coax to route. I usually hotglue some velcro strap to mine like for keeping cables behind your tv organized. This way I can strap it to the boom and remove it easily for service.
