Fatshark attitude sd diagonal lines in video.

    Hi.

Just got my new attitude sd and having problems with diagonal lines in the video.
These lines are not in my dominator.
Same plane and fpv setup during the test.
I only use 5,8 built in rx. I plugged in my dvd with the wires and the video was perfekt. Maby the wireless rx??
    Any other idea?

    Thanks.

Not necessarily. Usually lines are caused on the transmission side. Can you give more details and photos of your setup otherwise I'm just stabbing in the dark.

Yes, thats correct, but when i power the tx whith 5,5v trough a bec those lines dissapeared, tx run cooler and still over 2km range.
I have 3 fpv planes, X8 flying wing, AXN clouds fly and a skyfun.

    Setup x8:

Goprocamera hero2 fpv cam and recorder
    Hornet osd v 1,6
    Fy31ap v 2,0
    Immersion 600mw V2
    Cl antenna
5A 5,5v bec powering video tx, rc rx and fy31ap
2cell lipo 300mah powering the hornet osd, if power the osd under 6v mah counter do not work correctly. Missreading is over 30% on 5,5v.

    Skyfun setup:

5gr 5v pal camera from bevrc
    Fatshark 250mw tx
    Cl antenna
    AP117 withoute the case.
Power from esc 3a bec just to save wight, videoquality not so important on this one, (the speed is) it works better than i thought anyway.

    AXN clouds fly setup.
    Immersion tx 600mw
    Cl antenna
    5g 5v camera from bevrc
Power from engine battery 3cell lipo.
Simple as possible, just grab and go.
On this one you can also se the lines caused from the vtx built in step down regulator to camera supplies.

Do you have another transmitter to compare with? Is the transmitter powering a 5V camera? If so, which?

Every plane has its own transmitter. Two 600mw immersion v2 and one fatshark 250mw.
So yes i have tried that.
The gopro on the x8 has its own power/battery to the camera.
The axn and skyfun is powered from the vtx 5v out.
I also have tried different channels.
The video are still perfect i the dominator.

guess it might be the RX after all. You can send me a PM to see what can do about getting you a new RX to swap out.

If you are using switching bec try to use liner for video and rx /tx

I have tryed a almost empty 2cell lipo withoute any differens on the vtx. As i wrote earlier the lines disappear with my dominator.
On the rx side i use fatshark 2cell lipo, no bec needed there.
    Thanks anyway.

I have now find out that the lines only will appear when video out port is used on the goggles.
I always record my flight if something is going wrong, using a pv700,
i have also tryed it on my tv with the same lines, the lines are both i tv and goggles when video
out is used, and will dissappear when video out is disconnected, very irritating!
So i bought a second pair...............with the same lines.
I am now flying with the dominator, perfect picture and recording!

    Hi,

I received my Attitude SD yesterday and I have to say that it's a very nice goggles. But when I plugged in everything (3S lipo to vTX and a 1000mAh 2s lipo for my goggles) it didn't work. The goggles were displaying a grey background with some lines, but no image. I switched to all other channels but still the grey background with lines. I tried it withanother vTX and RX and I was sure they would work (I tested it on my TV) but still no image at all on my goggles.

    Here's my setup:

    Hi,

Have you tried the video in/built in rx switch, so its not in video in by wire?
