Anyone using the Fatshark 5.8ghz transmitter on their ground station?

I typically fly lower frequencies for video (900mhz and 1.3ghz). Interested in feeding these frequencies to my Fatshark Attitudes wirelessly. I was wondering if anyone was using another frequency between the plane and the ground station and then feeding this into the fatshark 5.8 transmitter to send the signal to the goggles without the wires. Just wondering how well it works in the real world and if there are any issues that I might need to be aware of.

    Thanks

By the way, I realize this totally violates the K.I.S.S principle.

I use this as well. 1.2 downlink then split to a fatshark 100mw tx and FPV Japan DVR works great to keep my Dominators wireless.

I did use this, but I found that the 100mw xt unit toasted itself after awhile. I even had a heatsink glued onto mine. I was thinking about using the 25mw immersion unit for it, but the price for that unit seems a bit high for only 25 mw. I might just get another 100mw unit and slap a bigger heatsink on it.

I'm pretty new to all of this...well kind of. I've been researching for a year and a bit. Can someone explain to me how the wireless ground station works? Maybe post some pictures of how it all hooks up. When I get home from work in a week I plan to give the fpv a wirl. I'm using 5.8Ghz video ( fatshark gear, I have a 100mw tx and a 600mw on order with some cp antennas. Also have a 72mhz futaba coming) in the future I'd like to use 2.3 Ghz video but like the wireless idea. Any info would be GREAT!!!
JimmPeaches. FYI I messed up on my user name.... There's an extra e in my last name....

I had to work this out also, thankfully it's really simple. My 1.3GHz video Rx has RCA outputs. I spliced the core of the yellow RCA wire (the centre pin wire) from the Rx to the video wire on the Fatshark Tx. Do the same with the ground RCA wire (outer shield on the yellow plug) to the ground wire on the Fatshark Tx. Connect a 3S lipo to the Fatshark 12v regulator for the Tx and you're done.

Just wire your ground station like it is flight cam from the video out.
