    Recommend a 3D profile foamie

I've been practicing a lot on Phoenix and would like to try my hand at 3D flying of little foamies in my backyard. I like flying the edge 540 shockfly model which is basically an indoor-ish plane but it isn't a production plane as best as I can tell.

Can anybody here give me a suggestion for a small beginner 3D plane for thrashing in small places? I'm not very good so it should be pretty durable.

And yeah I might put the pico cam on it for FPV if I get bored

I have the 32'' slick and the Telink 44'' slick. Both are awesome flying 3d foamy's!!

I guess I want something that flys slow and is durable and is small enough to fly in a 50ft circle (that area might be unrealistic). The small plane of Gutzy's looks pretty cool.

    Excellent plane!

I purchased a kit from WMParkFlyers for mine:

The EPP yak55 fits the bill perfectly!

I have owed the 3d hobby shop 38'' foamy. It's good, but the Telink and twisted planes are some of the best foamy's out there!!!

Twisted hobby's has some of the best customer service to boot also!

Thanks guys that looks good. The price difference between 32 and 44 isn't that much, as a beginner do I want one over the other?

The, 44''can handle some pretty good wind,10-15mph. But if your looking for a Back yard basher the 32'' is we're its at!!
I would suggest the crack yak ( should have bought that myself) The light version is new and was designed for indoor flying only. That's up to you. The 32'' size plane, for out door is better suited with 3s 450mah. 2s 450 for indoors.

Hey hucker, if you want a plane you could drive down and buy my Twisted Hobbies 32" EPP Crack Pitts Biplane! It flies slow and comes with tons of extra props. New it was about $200 after buying batteries and the electronics but because I've beat it up I could figure out a price with you that would be worth your drive.
