When you fly these bats are you going 100% off of the mAh used or can you use voltage to predict where you are in the cycle? With all of the batteries I fly I go off of voltage because it works under all cases.

I do it by timer personally, 8minutes, leave ~5 minutes as backup.

How do you read the voltage? As in what are you looking for on the voltage to tell you how long you can go for?

We fly by voltage. Once the pack hits 14V under load it's time to land, because it goes south from 13.5V VERY quickly.

By the way, to anyone wondering about how many batteries to get for your discovery to have fun flying, buy like 3 of each. Seriously I have the 3300 and 4500 and LOOOOOOOOOOVE these batteries but 2 isn't enough.

I doubt it is possible to predict this reading only by voltage... the relation of the voltage to time unlikely is linear. For those of us who use OSD systems, there is an indication of mah consumed.

voltage is always the most accurate! for instance, imagine you forget to charge a battery fully.

well, it's accurate in telling you that it is the right time to land, but I meant that watching only the voltage it could be very difficult to predict the remaining time.
