Hi,
I have owned and flown DL over 6 years on currently 6 aircraft with zero drama. There is a bit of a learning curve with binding and installation etc. But it all can be worked out. I did find...
The short answer is one is a whip(long) and the other a rubber duck. Frequency typically drives the length of the antenna. If Im not mistaken the inside of the rubber duck is more than a simple wire,...
I for one don't fly over people or houses, cars, boats etc...I don't consider it safe.

Yes it was taken from Hobby Kings website
I googled Multistar Razor 40A Tower F4 , and checked the manual at the site, its under downloads. I assume it is the unit you have? Left side middle of the board labeled RSSI. Some receivers are set...
RSSI pin is labeled AD2 on the manual, also you may have to enable it during the the OSD programming.
Remember to post what you find out, it may help someone with a similar problem
I apologize for not being much help. But here are my thoughts, If it was me I would go to the vTx board and check the connector or solder pads, they are almost always labeled(Gnd/5-12V/Video/Sound....
Pics would help as well as the vTx brand/model.
Good Job Brett~!
Maybe you can modify the fan equipped faceplate to work with your base??
Still fly my Penguin...rock solid and stable. The mini quad thing didnt hold my appeal, prefer slow easy cruising around. Just finished a Eflite Opterra and loving it too..
Agreed! Gonna fly this weekend without...Flying the wing isnt an issue, I was hoping it would assist on the launch, this thing is farking big! Will work thru it till the Eagletree gets here. I find...
Thanks Beer for your help...gonna order an Eagletree and setup like my Penguin. I know that will work:cool: We have already invested to much time on an 18 dollar piece of electronics, will use it for...
This is a DLV2, worked with it a bit this morning with no luck...I have a new V3 receiver, guess I will pull it from the plane and see if it will work with it for shits and giggles.
I have verified stand alone both units worked as designed. PWM vs PPM output may have something to do, if the DL Rx outputs are PPM vs PWM that maybe the problem. I believe the 2.4 Rx are normally...
The wiring is male to male from Rx to Orange and servos plugged into Orange as you would normally to a Rx. Swapping out the DL Rx with a FrSky 2.4 and it works as it should
Yes/ I have verified the DL works when servos are hook directly to DL and 2.4/ but when the Orange is place between the DL I have no control but the stabilization works. When placed between the 2.4 I...
I use the little Hobby King Orange stabilizers in smaller planes. Cheap and effective. I recently tried using one with my DragonLink receiver...nope nada nothing? Works perfect with FrSky 2.4 but no...
You may find this helpful as well:) Make sure you stay with in the weight limits of the design...it's easy to get a fat plane really fast!

Check out this site, it may help with what Im talking about.

LOL Mona Lisa, nope, but I do my best..thank you. I built another back in 1992 with a OS .15 and it flew well, slow and took for ever to land. The wing servo are mounted on a flat plate on...
1..wings were a pain/thin balsa snapped easily
2..adding the ailerons, took a lot of figuring, adding strength for hinges and drilling servo wire hole in all the ribs
3..the wood parts quality is...
The project looks fantastic! Like you I have had to work around this and that. The DynaFlite kit is horrible and has to be fidgeted a lot with, not to mention the modifications added by me. I use a...
