They’re designed by the same guy. The recon is hot wire cut out of epp foam. The Drak is a molded product. The foam is a different type of epp that’s really strong and durable. Both are nice but the...
The Drak is a much better video platform than the Caip 2. It is also way more stable and a better long range aircraft than the Caip 2. However, you will be paying quite a bit more for it. As a self...
Yeah the problem with uploading pictures on fpvlab is it’s got a size limitation but doesn’t tell you. Gotta reduce the size/ resolution of the image.
Would love I’ve to see what you’ve been up...
Dio,
Long time. How are you? Still cranking out awesome designs?
It’s difficult in these situations. Not saying you are lying, but they deal with so many who do lie it is hard to fathom. Everything from lying about not receiving packages to claiming items were...
No retailers carry it anymore that I know. 2.4ghz video just isn’t popular enough. I still have one in my desk that hasn’t had any use in a year
It should work fine with ABS. Will find out tonight
I'll try printing them. Thanks Billlyd
They always hype things. Thats their job. This receiver is amazing though. So tiny, yet from reports, the performance is fantastic.
Big announcement today was for a new Crossfire Nano RX. Smallest rx probably you can buy. It’s smaller than the FrSky XM+. Full range, just tiny size
Standard edition for forty includes regular...
I found the winglets were too thin. I glued and screwed them on but they still get torn up pretty quickly where I land. Rough gravel or concrete.
The bay covers are terrible. They’re neat but...
E6000 and Goop are the same basically
I used Goop. The Caip2 is EPP
I use 2.4ghz video. Works great. I put the vtx in the bottom bay and 3D printed covers found on thingiverse. No problem with heat so far.

I flew mine. Flies pretty well. Its not the fastest, but stays in the air a long time if you want it to
Yep, I use the rear mark on the picture of the Z1.5. The thing flies like a dream. You need to get it in the air HOSS!
Amazing flying and visuals. You are lucky to have such places to fly.
Cause your day job rocks!
The guys at Dragonlink will make these if you request. They work well
Mine had more fiberglass spars. He doubled them up at the rear.
Yep from the horse's mouth. I fly mine at 11". It lands right on the front rear spar ( mine isn't quad spar so location of spar is different from yours ).
Try the Legend 3. Similar form factor as the RunCam 2 with specs close to GoPro 5
11 to 11 1/4 inches from tip of nose
I built that mini drak months ago =) The big zeph flies quite a bit like the original zeph, as far as I can recall. Its a big wing, flies straight where you point, and is less prone to being thrown...
